Hi  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Do any of you guys know if there are any places (windows) airside in Terminal E where I can get some shots after check-in and before boarding?

All info gratefully received.

Hi Declan

I know that Mark Garfinkel and Vasco Garcia know a lot about Boston so hopefully they will be able to point you in the right direction for shots.

Happy shooting.

Hello,
I was there last year and you can get some okay shots from inside the boarding lounge. Not brilliant but all right. It was before I took photos so I couldn't give you exact/ up-to-date info

Thanks Granite. Yes, I know a little about BOS term E....but not alot about it. It is not so good for action, and you will have to shoot thru a window. After you pass thru security, you will have a nice not on shot of Speedbird 747-200 or 777 or 747-400...also with Lufthansa a 747-200 or airbus 340....Swiss air A330...NWA DC10...Iceland Air 757 ..Sabena A330
good shootin'

As Mark already pointed out, no action shots possible while being at Terminal E......You can shoot nice close ups at Terminal E though.

If you want to have action shots, go either to Terminal C, there you have the whole ramp in front of you.

Martin,
Aer Lingus is one of my favorites in Boston.. Sorry. How I forgot them I will never know.
Beautiful photos are possible with their great livery of deep green against a blue sky.

Ever gone to Copley Square (??? not sure if thats the place) in the city centre where I think they have a couple of plaques about us. I think its near the old commerce hall, but I'm not 100% sure. Its been a year since I was there and that was the only time.
Oh BTW dont ever go that restaurant in the Longwood Mall oppsite the Medical centre, the food bites, Big Time !

There is no real place in Terminal E, unless they are using 15L, then you might have a slight opportunity. As Vasco said, the best shots from inside a terminal are at the end of the Delta or United piers in Terminal C, or the Terminal B garage. They give the most action, including 4/22 and 9/27.

I'd like to add a specific: as DeltAirlines said, the UAL gates in terminal D are good as well, very especially during the afternoons in the summer. Inbound Atlantic flights must taxi by the UAL gates in terminal D.

Bear in mind the windows!!!
