Morning,

Apologies for this self congratulatory thread but after 2 years of uploading and my fair share of rejections this morning I have found that I am top of the day.

Without a doubt this site has pushed me to improve my photography every time I go out and I am grateful for that.

Thanks to everyone I have met through this site and all those who have offered me assistance with a special thanks to Mr Glenn Stewart without whose help I would not have any shots on here!

Apologies for this self congratulatory thread

No need to apologise, as its a great achievement. In the 2 years I've been uploading, I've gotten to the number 3 spot so you've done 2 better than me!

Well done again!
Martin

Well done Simon,
I am surprised you haven't been there before you have some superb shots in your collection.
Keep those great shots coming.
Regards
Mark

Well done Simon!

I bet it was a nice surprise to see your shot become so popular?

It's great that people look for something different from time to time. Something unusual, out of the ordinary and the shot you least expect to make it.

This "top of the last 24hrs" certainly left me scratching my head that's for sure...

Only kidding, but is it BAD_PHOTOGRAPHER to have your reflection in the photo such shown in reply #3

Incidentally, what do they do with a bar layout like that when turbulence crops up?
