I'm going spotting tomorrow at YYZ on the Fed Ex hill. Does anyone know if I can get a list that shows a flights time, runway, and reg number? Its my first time spotting with a camera.

Hello! Well, for security reasons I don't think you will be able to get the reg of the plane and the runway in use. For the runway is quite easy as the only thing you need to do is find a metar of the airport (write "airport name" Metar in google) and check how the winds are. Excepting if you work for the Airports society, you will never get an exct list of flights coming, but for the regular flights you can check the airport website or the websited of the enterprise who is managing the airpors. For example, in Spain, AENA is the place to go: www.aena.es .

Just for ask... First time spotting with a camera... what did you use before?

[EDIT]

Found that for toronto:

http://www.gtaa.com/index.aspx?Sid=N...&TERMINAL=0&submit.x=35&submit.y=3

Site is www.gtaa.com then go to flight search, and then put arrivals, leave all blank and write all under "terminal".

Hope it helps

I think spotting and photography for the first time with your camera would be a great experience so no real need for a schedule.

Just turn up and see what happens.

I've been to Toronto a few times and always something nice there.

Remember to let us know what you have photographed and post some examples here.

Regards

Gary

I have a couple from last July that might stand a chance at making it into the database ; I'll try to get some that have good quality unlike the ones I took last year. Oh and I dont know how to upload or send them in. Heard something about a scanner.
