Hi, i recently uploaded photos on the A380 from the Asian Aerospace show...
i received an email confirming that i passed the first stage and that 3 of my photos passed the first stage and another screener will have to pass them to make it onto the database.
However, a few housr after that email, the error message appeared in another email:
During or after uploading these photo(s), an error occurred. This may be
due to an incorrect or not unique filename or to a server problem. Please
note that our scripts cannot process files whose names include "jpg" or
"jpeg" in the main filename (before the dot). Example: 747jpg.jpg would
not work. Furthermore, the filename needs to be shorter than 50 characters
and fairly unique (1.jpg would be a very bad filename). If your filename
seems OK, then it's probably our problem and we ask that you accept our
apologies and please try to upload the shot again.
Note:
Does this mean that my picutres have been rejected becuase of quality problems, liek i need to work them up a little on photoshop/ they just suck and they dont belong on Anet
OR
there was a Airliners.net server/datrabase problem/ my filenames were not good enough etc. etc. like a technical problem and I SHOUDL re-submit them and they do hvae a chance of getting accepted like the quality of the shots fine just i coincidentlaly had a error with the submission and i need to re-submit it?
im just curious are my pics not good enoguh or are they good enough but got rejected becuase of technical problems.
Thanks

Reading the last paragraph of the "rejection" message would seem to indicate to me that it was some problem on a.net as your filenames look OK. Looks like you'll have to upload them again unfortunately.
