Anyway, it's my first photo of that registration. And my only photo of the MD-80 cockpit with a wide-angle lens. I don't care whether it gets in or not, I just think placing all my photos in Johan's queue constitutes bad screening.
If you disagree, the floor is all yours...
P.S. The photos I posted are great and are only here to show my point.

Hmm... I HQ'd that one, and you didn't have a shot of that particular Finnair MD80 yet. And since most your other cockpit shots are similar, I don't see the problem (perhaps the fact that the copilots face is visible? ). I suppose the screener who screened it after me did. Don't worry about it, Johan screens his Q quite regularly these days...

Relax Peter, from my experience photo went in Johan's queue have a very good chance to be accepted! The MD80 photo will be another top of the 24 hours for you
On the contrary I saw rules are relaxed for cabin photos. Some new cabin photo additions are showing crews faces, passengers faces etc. By no mean to criticize any particular photog or their photos, just want to know is the rule being relaxed a little? (which help all of us anyway)

Thanks guys, and thanks Edouard and Sam for not shooting me down in flames.
Why not add another upload slot on the upload page. If the photo contains recognizable people, you upload a photo of a signed model release form along with the photo. These are available free of charge from the net. You print a couple of them when needed, and carry them around with you. Ends the legal hassle.
Every time I upload a photo and it goes to Johan's queue the message I get is, you keep uploading thrash we don't want, but we'll let Johan decide.
Yet 12 of the 15 "most popular MD-80 cockpit photos" on A.net were taken by me. So I guess the photos are ok, but the photographer isn't. More emphasis should be put on the photo itself and not the photographer.
"Hey it's a great photo, too bad you took it" doesn't sound right.
I can live my life without ever uploading to A.net again, no problem. I think I'm not the only one having this problem though, and I am glad to take the heat on behalf of everyone concerned.

Hi Peter and the rest of members...
Things haven't changed a lot for you my friend I'm afraid. I'm not quite convinced you don't care about if your photos get accepted or not. I wouldn't.. The reason you are worried about the destiny of your pics are the several threads you have started here for a few years now...
Always a pleasure to see your photos uploaded in this database.....

The first photos were propably uploaded to the main A.net queue in February. So even if once a month counts as regular, twice a month would be much nicer.

You know, of all the MD80 shots that you've got, that one really looks gives an impression of size. It may just be the crew's arms over the pedestal, but the whole thing looks like a comfy little sportscar!
It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, and I am not a big man.
Yeah well, I uploaded 2 different photos to 2 different sites on the same day. The other site added my photo on March 5th, this site hasn't screened my image yet (March 30th).
This makes me believe the upload date is added after the photo has been screened by the first screener, ie. after it has cleared the 9000 photos in the queue.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
