Ok well it has been a while since I have really uploaded shots from the ramp at SAN. I think my (novice) eye for "good enough" is a bit rusty. I'm looking for some input/advice. Today, SAN was blessed with a very rare visit by a 747! How does this look? Good enough? If it isn't by normal standards, because this picture can be considered rare, would the screeners be a little more lenient?

If it has issues, how can they be fixed? I have never been so excited about an upload... Haha

Thanks

I think it looks rather nice myself.

What was the reason for the 747 into SAN?
Diversion from LAX ???

I would imagine it's good enough - it's not perfect but hopefully the screeners can allow it into the database. It certainly shouldn't receive a "bad common" rejection!  bigthumbsup

No diversion. World Baseball Classic since it's being played at Petco Park in San Diego.

I see some noise and some softness affected by heat haze. I love the photo cool shot. ide try to get it in. I personally would but i doubt it. Good Pic though.

Yeah it may be a tad too soft according to my work monitor but a damn nice shot. Leave in Q. You may be surprised. Don't get shot for trying...some of the time!

I played with it a little more. Tried to get rid of some of the noise. Is this one any better? Shall I replace the one in the queue? Thanks for your help!

Hm. The 2nd try seems better to me when taking a closer look on the clouds. How did you make that? I mean which "button did you press" in which program? I like it!

Ouch...

None of them made it. I will have to rework them I guess once I get my computer back up and running. What a bummer. I hope I can work them out well enough to make it. Not like I can go right back out there and shoot a 747 at SAN tomorrow...
