These two were rejected for quality. If anyone could tell me how to improve them, that woulbe great. I'm relativly new to Photoshop. I'm usig photoshop elements.

The top photo has a lot of visible grain/noise. The bottom one has some, but not as much. Did you use any feature of PS to brighten (or shadow/highlight) the photo? That can contribute. Otherwise, please provide more details about the Camera, including any manual settings (specifically ISO).

I also feel like the bottom photo has too much open space at the top. When editing, either move the subject higher up (more space at the bottom), or crop closer in to eliminate the space above.

I did use PS to brighten the photo. I am using a Canon EOS ELAN 2. It is a film SLR. Used 200 film speed.

There is bit of grain and noise on them.
First one is also bad size. Second one could use better cropping (there is too much sky).
