Hi everybody,

these two were rejected for motiv:

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/rejections/big/20060416_psv0100_2.jpg

and I absolutely don't know why. I have read a lot discussions about motiv rejections and these are not my first motiv rejections as well. Thats why I have to ask for an explanation.

Thanks,
Bjoern

I would have a guess that;

First One, is due to the building on the right of the Photo;

Second One, is due to the wheels of the Aircraft being obstructed/not fully shown.

Thanks,
Cosmic  Smile

This is why they were rejected:

The first one, too many distracting things around the aircraft. The photograph is really hard to focus on to see whats there.

The second one, the wheels are covered by the snow. That will cause a rejection.

There is nothing wrong with each picture. They just don't follow anet standards.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your fast input!

This house is not just standing in the way, it is built around the propeller engine so that they can do their maintenance work on it. It is the same like in a production hall and there are many photos in the airliners db. So I don't think that this is the rejection reason for the first one.

Yes, could be.

Ok, I agree.

It most likely is.

i agree with the statement above:
1-clear case of motive/cluttered (distraction)
2-wheels are not visible

hope this helps

AIRLINERS.NET CREW
HEAD SCREENER

Whilst I can see the reasons for the rejections as outlined so well by others above, by others above, I cannot find the Egypt Government one on the database at all (I can't quite make out the reg but searched type and titling)
The wheels are only covered in part by the snow and the aircraft is pretty rare, pretty special.
If I am right, it may be worth an appeal for that reason, particularly if you know why it was visiting

1) The blue truck is the main reason, I think
2) I'd give is a badcentered - too much of the ground visible, but motiv for the half visible gear ? No.

It probably is, but this maybe was not clear to the screener? You might consider appealing it and giving an explanation.

cheers,

1st shot: I took many shots on this day of these awesome two waterbombers. I will give another shot a try with all your advices memorized. And after all the other one (C-FLYK) already found it's way into the db:

2nd shot: It's sad that it seems I have no chance with this one.

I got answers to my questions - that's what I was asking for.

Thanks for all your input guys!
