David,

All look flat and grainy, and a couple are not level.

Hi David,

Welcome to the forum.

First off I would say you havent picked the best day for shooting there. Try to get out in the sun for 'best results'. It also seems like you can get quite close to the action so thats good. Keep your ISO and low as possible(in sunny conditions) and a high shutter speed combined with a good depth of field(high f number). Sorry if you know all this, I'm making the assumption you may not! So I apologise in advance for that!

What equipment are you using? I know its not the most important factor but you need to learn to utilise it to its best.

Is that Southampton you're at?

Well I had the Z2 before I upgraded to my 350D. Its a great little camera, capable of getting good pictures but really only suited to good weather! I would shoot in shutter priority, keep it high enough.

Good luck!

They would need to be for anet, as they are the originals you have shown. Do you have any software for photo editing such as Photoshop elements?

You can forward them to me and i'll have a pop at them

colin@chines22.wanadoo.co.uk

I might be able to get a go at them at home tonight.

David,

Thats a decent effort! Upper fuselage is over exposed, maybe too much on the curves/levels. Needs a little shaprening too. Though leave the sky out.

Hi David,

I've had a go at editing the Thomsonfly (nose Photo), and it's blurred I'm afraid. Try a higher ISO than 50 next time when your out in this kind of weather as that may help  Smile

It's best to try and get down when the weathers alot better, and when it's not snowing like it was that morning when you were with me!
Your probably see an improvement with the quality when it's sunny and blue skies, just need to be aware of the heathaze now.  Sad
