Can I be one of the first to congradulate Mr Mick Bajcar. He has just passed the 4000 image mark. This makes him one of the top 20 image contributers on A.net.

Young Mick loves to do it old school with his great collection of B&W shots as well as getting all over the world with his 20D to catch the latest jets.

4000 now that's something .
One reason and the only reason I'm not happy to see Mick reach 4000 images as it would probably mean his supply of old stuff might be running low.
Always a please to view his old stuff hope I'm wrong with the above statement and hope there is a lot more to come.
Well done Mick on a great achievement.
Cheers

AIRLINERS.NET CREW
HEAD SCREENER

Gee, thanks all, I am really flattered.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the site most of the time, been frustrated by it at times and learned a lot from it. I always try to mix some new and old and a mix of locations in any uploads and am down to my last few hundred black and white negatives and slides.
More importantly though, I have made so many friends (at a time when I really needed them). Many are friends I will never meet, but I have enjoyed the laughs, discussions and ribbing with so many others, Kevin Bates, Jid, Paul Markman, Fergul, Tim Goodwin, etc. It is impossible to come away from a day at MAN without having had a laugh ! There are too many others to mention that I have met either on the Internet or in person.
I must also thank the Screeners who make this site what it is, like it or not, that is what they do. Next time you get a rejection, and you sure as hell will, remember that !
One last tip....photograph it all. The day will come when you will regret not having done so.
Mick Bajcar

Fantastic stuff Mick - an excellent achievement. I know we've STILL not met - despite the fact I suspect we were both at Manchester yesterday, Saturday - but I hope we will put that right in a couple of weeks time.

Andy

PS: Mick should be doing a slide show/talk on some of his pictures at a venue close to Nottingham East Midlands Airport on the evening of Monday 15th May, 19:30 to 22:30-ish - if you're in the area and would like to come along, drop me an e-mail (in my profile) and we'll sort something out
