Hi all,
Got a request for the use of my Tupolev Tu-4 picture to illustrate an aviation history column. Now, I think that's a noble cause and I was inclined to give my permission.
However, I just had a look at the website of the publication, In Flight USA, and while it does not look super professional they do claim to have a monthly circulation of 41,000 copies, and do charge $245 for an 1/8 page ad. Somehow to me that does not seem entirely in line with what is being offered to me - nothing or $10 if I insist.
Do you know this publication? What do you say?
Thanks,
Peter

How big are they wanting to print your photo? Any idea? I sold a photo once to Airliners magazine and it was about 3inX3in and I only got $10 and free copy. I thought the same thing, $10??? That's it? But I guess that is the going rate in America as many other photographers told me thats average.
