Has it arrived today?

If so, I bet people have been out in droves to see it on Manchester's annual cloudless day  Wink  duck

I feel the need to go home and pay hommage  Wink but I cannot make it! Seen a couple of pics of it at MAN posted elsewhere.

So new terrace chant, "We've only got one plane!"

I uploaded this one as a priority and then read the message from Royal. I sent him a message of apology but got waylaid before pulling it.
I sent the following message to the screeners at 1752....

Photo just accepted !
I read a thread on the Forum saying that these were not priority after uploading it and sent Royal a message apologising for having done so.
Got waylaid and went back to pull it about 10 mins later by which time someone had screened it.
If you feel the need to quietly pull it, I understand !
I will be accused of getting preferential treatment now
Doooooohhhhh
Priority....mmmm I did wonder but it is not an airline that visits the UK at all and there is a lot of interest. Personally I have little interest in cricket !

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

hell no  Smile

I think it deserves priority, and if a screener has accepted it under priority then obviously It did deserve it  Smile

Jan

It would NOT get priority because it has appeared on the database before.

United Airlines have not operated a 757 into Aberdeen before and if I photographed it I would not expect priority.

Gary

That image is quite soft.

Please could you re-process?

Whilst on the subject can some kind soul help me with a couple of queeries, does this look too backlit for the db?
Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 518kb

It was taken in the midday sun, not the best, sadly it was the only time I could go and photograph it.They are only rough working of the image, don't see the point of going too far with the processing if the basics arn't there.

Also are the steps in the way too much so will get rejected for this?
Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 621kb

Many thanks for your constructive help  Wink

steps in the way

Hi Global

The backlit shot might have been ok if the ramp at MAN was not so white!

And the steps are a motive reject.

Sods law steps always the same side as the sun! I think I might have moved them, but that said I have a bad back from moving too many steps over the years to get a good photo!! Or as I did once ask them to put them on the RHS!

But a mug shot of Zander Diamond on the side of a BA A320, I think
you might change your mind Gary!

It would be ironic if the plane went 'tech' just like the player on the front fuselage...  mischievous

Who is Zander  Wink

Good to see this thread has not turned into a fiasco. Mick's image was added in error and it is soft. Mistakes can happen.

I am not deleting it from the datatabase. I have asked Mick to re-upload an improved version to replace the current one.

Regards

Gary
