I like the motive behind those kind of shots.
However, as Ivan wrote, it seems low in the frame and some jaggies can clearly be seen. Plus, IMO, I don't like the lower part of the engine being cut off, probably due to the crop you did. Finally I don't think the size of the picture is appropriate for A.net (not wide enough).
That said, I personally don't think it is "that bad". Keep shooting!

It is close in terms of overall quality, but could use some tweaking as Ivan has said. Re-crop it higher into the frame, sharpen a bit less, and if you know how to make a duplicate layer, you can erase jaggies after you sharpen too much. Also before sharpening use the magic wand and select the entire sky, then invert the selection so you can sharpen only the aircraft. Grain becomes more visible as you sharpen, and the sky does not need to be sharpened at all. Also you should make a unique file name on what you save. Good luck.
