Rejection - Bad Quality, Can It Be Saved

Hi,

I recently had this shot rejected.

I've tried a few times but keep ending up with to much grain and bad contrast. I've looked at other shots in the database and found a few (recent uploads) which suffer with grain and looked washed out, but they have been accepted.

Any help on improving my picture?

Did you check your histogram? Its dark...but I think its fixable with proper workflow. I made a quick adjustment on the curves and its looks good.

As for the looking at other pics, I was just trying to get an idea on what the acceptable levels for grain in low light were.

Honestly, I don't think this shot can get in. It's dark and soft and the clutter in the background does not help.

I'm afraid I agree. If it were mine I would bin it. You'll get a better shot next time.

Can't do much about the clutter though being at one of the worlds busiest airports.
