I was wondering whether anyone knew which wa of getting film shots onto a computer produces better quality. Scanning prints or using Kodak's service where they take your films shots and put them on a cd. I was wondering whether anyone here uses that. I would be developing at Costco.

Time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted.

Hi Ashwin

I have a few Kodak CD's but have to say that scanning the negatives myself produces far better results.

If I were you I would go for an Epson flatbed scanner with the transparency adaptors and scan the negatives (not the prints) yourself.

Cannot remember the Epson one I have at the moment but it cost about 80.00 UK Pounds.

Mail me later in the evening if you want more info.
