Hello,

I have this picture and honestly I don't know if it is properly centered.

If I center the A300 then I cut the A340 that is behind...So what do you recommend?

Thanks!

DARIO

Hi Dario,

That's a nice shot. Definitely don't crop the nose of the AC A340. The A300 could be cropped a little more on the right and I'd also lose some of the foreground, cropping the aircraft a little lower in the frame.

I wouldn't worry too much about the A300 not being centred as it's obvious what the motive of the shot is.

Just my thoughts.

Regards,

Tim.

Obviously missing something....

Hi Dario,

I would crop closer to the tail of the Olympic and leave equal space between the tail as there is before the nose of the Air Canada.

For the vertical centering, I would (but that's purely my personal view) put them slightly lower (just a little bit) in the frame (now, it's just the fuselage that is centered and not the full aircraft, including tail). It will look more balanced.

PS: I think it can also use somewhat extra sharpening.

Good luck,

Walter

Totally agree and I find that a comment to the screener often helps to show that you know, have considered the rules and explain why you have broken them.

I would say actually it would be best to centre it vertically by having the centre of the photo running along the top of the Olympic fuselage.

Dario,
as already said before, kill the dead space on the right and put them just a bit lower in the frame.

Absolutely, leave a short note about why you did what.

Nice shot,

Denis

That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough. I'm going to clown college!

Hi Dario....

What are you doing so far from home?
About to center the a/c, I'd say to balance the photo. All that green makes the gap larger than it is...

Take care

Dario,
When you re-edit, beware, the image has a magenta cast too....the sky is pinkish.
Correct that by adding some green and the grass will be greener too.
