CAL - Cargo Air Lines (El Al Israel Airlines)
Boeing 747-200 (C-25/E-4)
I'm thinking the problem lies in the part I made bold. I could choose from 4 different options from the dropwdown list, and I chose that one. I saw the same line used on another photo of this aircraft. It's even standardized.
However, I AM aware of the rule that if the airline's name isn't on the fuselage, I should enter it as "untitled (name of airline)." But since most others didn't do that I thought it would be okay if I did the same.
Or did I make a mistake somewhere else? Would I have a fairly good chance of a succesfull appeal?
(sorry for the non-clickable link, it wouldn't work..)

AIRLINERS.NET CREW HEAD SCREENER
This is a perfect example of a suggestion that was made some months ago where the photo goes into a sort of suspended area, accepted but not yet included, waiting for correction.
Kas still gets the rejection but it would get on the db quicker as it would not have to go through screening again.
Was anything ever done about that suggestion ?

I fully agree. Would be a good solution which will help uploaders, screeners and the database.

Is the comment to screeners on the upload page a good way to identify inconsistencies for the database editors deal with? It is a monumental task with the database so big and the span of time that images are uploaded compounded by changing titles, mergers, and modifications.

I've just corrected all the information for all the photos in the database of this registration so that the airline field reads "Untitled (El Al Israel Airlines Cargo)". Sorry that this wasn't caught before but there are just so many things in the database to correct and standardize. I've done some work with Cargo 747s lately (MASkargo, KLM Cargo, etc.) but hadn't got up to looking over the El Al examples.
If you come across inconsistencies or glaring errors in the database, please either use the correction tab on the photo in question or - if it's an inconsistency involving many photos - drop us a line at email@example.com.
I'm afraid we can't meet every correction request immediately but we do our best.
Kas, sorry about your badinfo rejection. In the future, please just do your best to follow the rules on the info help page and we (the editors) will do our best to eliminate errors in the db that screw up the autocomplete function on the upload page.
