Hi, I've looked at A.net for a couple of years now but just recently started trying to upload some of my pictures. I got my first two rejected (expected) but am posting the second one here to ask some advise. This is after the first edit, which was my first time using Photoshop CS following Ferguls' guide. I got this rejected for "quality, colour, grainy, distance". O.K., I understand the color and distance adjustments for my second try at editing but I would like some help with the other two. Is the quality due to the overall problems with the other three catagories? Mostly, is there a way the filter out the noise, in Photoshop, that is giving me the "grainy" rejection? Any other tips for photoshop would be helpful as there is just so much there that I start to feel in over my head. Thanks alot.
P.S. The first is the unedited version and the second is edit V1.

Your picture still lack quality. Mostly heat haze. Unfortunately, that's not fixable. You're better off starting from scratch with another picture. Have you tried maybe getting closer to aircraft? I know in some cases it may be hard but it'll definitely make a difference as far as reducing heat haze in your shots. Good luck next time!

First of all, the main problem I see with the quality is the heat haze, which right there makes the photo a goner unfortunately. As for grain, there are some ways to get rid of some grain, but with the amount you have, it would effect other areas that would just cause you more problems.
