Just out of interest I was wondering who was operating this Greek registered aircraft today at MAN (SX-BLX).

Many thanks.

Soz Ian! I only decided to go at about 11.30. I got there just before 1pm. Couldn't move for all the deckchairs. Big grin

But I can't find any info on this at all. Do the Greek have an official list? If they do I can't find it. It's probably MyTravel or Tommy Cook.  Wink

Interesting one.

All others in the SX-BL* series are operated by Axon Airlines. None are Airbuses though.

Tim.

Edit: On further looking Axon Airlines are now bankrupt, so it's not theirs. Air Scotland are due an A320 though after the 757 went back. Could it be Greece Airways?

2nd Edit: It is the Air Scotland A320 as I suggested. Quoted from Rinway Reports:

"Tuesday 13th June

Air Scotland acquired use of Airbus 320 SX-BLX (formerly LZ-BHA) recently, and the aircraft positioned from Glasgow to operate outbound as GRE2213 to Girona late evening."

They're doing their own flights from all sorts of UK airports this summer with that. Today's was Alicante looking at the Air Scotland website. Weekly Girona flights are also starting from DSA.

Bloody typical! - I held a ticket for this very flight from ALC-MAN on the day you pictured it; sadly, for reasons far too boring to go in to, I had to fly back last Tuesday instead on the Globespan B736 into EDI.
