Good Place To Spot In CVG

Does anyone know of a good place to spot at CVG? I havent really "spotted" before but i have a free weekend and wanted to catch a glimpse of the AF flight into CVG...

Check out the viewing area which is ap arking lot that is right next to runway 36R/18L. Its been a while since I've been there, but the AF flight usually lands on that runway..just to let you know the sun wont be in an ideal position, but its still manageable.

is that runway parallel or perpendicular to terminal 3...i can not remember the runway numbers off the top of my head...

As Stephen said, there is a designated airplane viewing area just off of Donaldson road on the east side of the airport. They have benches there, but no sun shade so it's getting pretty toasty there under the sun. As far as I know, AF flight operating A343 lands there around 1-1:30pm. I might go there to take some shots this weekend as well depending on the weather. Below is one of the shots I made there recently.

Yes. Follow east-west runway (09-27) to the east. That lot is the grey area just above the intersection of Donaldson road and Mineola pike.
