Looks good to me.

I would have cropped a little tighter, but that's just me.

What lens did you use?

Nikon D700, Nikkor 80-400, Fuji X Pro 1, Fujinon 35 f/1.4, Fujinon 18 f/2

AIRLINERS.NET CREW
HEAD SCREENER

At 1024 x768 it is currently at the maximum size for the database.
The size limits are (at 1024) 683-768 but look at the 768 as a maximum rather than a target.
It is a nice image that could stand a bit more cropped off the top and bottom as Viv also said.
You have annoyed me as I could not get to Wadd due to work, though I did manage to get for the arrivals

Great shot! I would sharpen it a bit more, and also brighten the sky and fuselage abit, whilst increasing contrast a tad. If it were my shot, that is  Smile No EF's for me this year  Sad

what seems to be the officer, problem?

Sorry but I actually don't think it looks that great. It lacks detail, and looks overedited (look at the tail).

Would be happy to have a look at the original for you.

I'm not saying this is right what I am going to say, but I belive it looks over-edited because of the High-Speed crop mode (D2X?).

Hi,

I hope it's acceptable because I have a nearly identical one in the queue right now! In fact when I first looked I thought it was mine. Upon a closer look I was further behind the aircraft and my shot appears to show slightly more contrast.

Same as above Gary I would crop it closer to the wings if you can but still keep the quality there if you can.  Smile

Care to explain what you mean?

Pavvy,
It feels like you had a go at it with some serious NeatImage, or something like that! It's got that rather plastic look.

Yes.

I was saying that if I'm not right in what I'm going to say, please don't blame me.

I said to:

Quoting TimdeGroot (Reply 5):

that I think the photo is over-edited because Pawy took the shot at the high-speed crop mode.

It was why you think the photo is over-edited because of it being shot in high-speed crop mode that I was curious about! I'm not blaming you in any way,...for anything.  Wink

As I think you have the D2X, is the high-speed crop mode a nice feature?

Correctemundoooo...

Quoting Aero145 (Reply 13):

Honestly, I've only made good use of it two times in the six months I've had the D2X. I suppose it can come in handy for sportsphotog's and the like, but I can't really seem to work out what to use it on...  boggled
Most of the time, 5 fps is more than enough for me.

Both original shots look fantastic but could do with some cropping IMHO

And on another note, the Typhoon display at Waddington was Awesome!! And both these shots do it justice!

Except of course for the noise, which I can still hear  Smile
