I am going to be doing some spotting/photography before my flight to KUL on Wednesday (12th). I will be at LHR from around mid-morning to mid-afternoon before my flight departs  Smile

Is there anything I need to be aware whilst spotting on Wednesday, I have been to LHR several times before.

Is there any intresting aircraft due in on Wednesday?

Can someone give me the link to the LHR spotting wesbsite which has runway info?

Can anyone reccomend me somewhere else to go, I usualy go to Mytrle Av and the Green Man pub?

Thanks

Rob!  wave

runway info?

Check this website for weather reports and wind direction. Just click "View the full five day forecast for London"

Visit this site for any traffic such as NetJets, just type in EGLL in the arrival Airport box.

That website is about as much use as a Chocolate tea pot. The weather that far ahead is hardly accurate, especially the BBC one.

The Algearians will be departing between 1800 and 1930 Local time.

At the moment they are parked on Stands 160 and 161 next to Runway 09 left/27 right.

They comprise an IL-76 and a G-4sp along with a G-5, Varig recently sent in a 767 on one of there LHR flights so you mite get Lucky.

OK thanks for the Info on the Varig 767.

I stopped regular Spotting and Photography at LHR two years ago as I have been busy with another Project but tomorrow I will be going to get some Digital Photos of The Algearians departing.

Check my Profile for the other Project.

You won't be the only one. Where I'll be standing, at the end of 27R, I am hoping for a long take off roll.

Cheers
