I hear over and over again to be more creative and this is what I'm trying to achieve .
I thought i might be a little different and upload this angle and crop.

Just had it rejected for MOTIV is it because i chopped off the wings to get a closer look or just not your usual crop.
Why be different if all you get is motiv rejections
Any opinions welcomed.

Looks like any other un-attractive belly shot, not really creative to me. I agree with the rejection.

not really creative

If that was reason for badmotive, then we'd see a lot more.  Wink

Can always rely on Jeff for an uplifting comment.

I like the shot don't get me wrong but for some reason I can see why it was rejected. A little bit too different for here.

Ok thanks for the opinion but does that mean you agree with the rejection because its an unattractive belly shot.?
I know your not a big fan of belly shots Jeff but as long as belly shots are not bad motiv people will continue to upload them
But just not sure what triggered the motiv rejection on this one.
Oh by the ways Jeff the creative part or trying to be creative is the light through the engines ?
Harry and martin you guys posted as i was writing this reply thanks for the comments appreciated.
Cheers

Motive is not something you can always put your finger on. For some reason, the image is awkward and my eye roams across it looking for something of interest, yet not really finding anything.

hmmm....not sure that works for me, as it doesn't jump out and get my attention.

Not especially, as Jeff said, Motive is not an exact science. One persons NOA_motive is anothers high art.

Belly shots are not my favourite but if you beleive in it go for it.
Maybe some fine tuning of the crop but that is up to you.

Cheers

Chris

I never re upload shots that get shot for motiv the only shots i redo are the ones that have a chance like soft and level the rest if the screener doesn't like them the first time i doubt they would the second.
Cheers and thanks all for the input
