Are those shots taken through glass? There is a greenish colour cast to them. If you have them in the queue now I would remove them before you get the rejection e-mails.

They are taken through glass, but I don't know why that would give them a green-ish color cast. I actually had to wait 5 minutes to shoot because they were cleaning the windows (and missed a SAA 343 because of it!).

So don't rush into it. Take your time. Yes, this is a great site with many excellent photographs but it won't come overnight, it takes time. Look at current images in the database - do those pics not look green to you?

No, I agree, they do look a little green. I am just curious as to why, since the glass was clean, and it was a bright sunny day. The only things I changed were the crop and sharpening. I didn't fool with the levels at all because they looked good to me. Only now did I see the green.

The glass used in windows is crap. Nothing like the optical glass used to make lenses.
Now comes the fun part. Taking a crap load of pictures and meeting lots of people out and about.

Because the glass that is normally used for windows is Green. That will cause the colour cast. You can fix that in Photoshop either manually or by using the auto colour feature.
But good first shots. Don't leave them in the Q - they don't have the quality for here. Get to know the camera and its settings before starting to upload.

Thanks for the responses. Photos have been taken out of the queue. Does not seem like they can be saved, except maybe the full-shot of the 763.
