As I've just added my 2000th photo to airliners.net I would like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to Johan and the crew of a.net, all viewers and fellow photographers.
It's been a great time since I displayed my first photo almost two years ago. Since then, I believe I have been able to improve both my photography and scanning skills, especially by learning from other photogs at a.net. But above all, I've made many friends around the world through a.net (and argued with some others in the forums...).
Long live airliners.net!

Yes, congratulations on such an achievement and doing it with photos that dont dissapoint in both aesthetics and picture quality. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to viewing some more of your work.

Nice to see my hometown posted again, you must be sad if you haven´t seen D-AIGR going around and performing lower app at EDDP during very worse weather conditions... (if I will ever own a slidescanner I will post pics for you here) Only press and media had been allowed to stand on the twy to take photos while all other enthusiasts waited in the rain on a kind of hill, which is today 2DM for charge. Thats the course our airport (EDDP/LEJ) is "flying" - now you know why there are only a few pictures from there. :-((
