I got one of mine rejected with the following explanation:
Quote: During or after uploading these photo(s), an error occurred. This may be
due to an incorrect or not unique filename or to a server problem. Please
note that our scripts cannot process files whose names include "jpg" or
"jpeg" in the main filename (before the dot). Example: 747jpg.jpg would
not work. Furthermore, the filename needs to be shorter than 50 characters
and fairly unique (1.jpg would be a very bad filename). If your filename
seems OK, then it's probably our problem and we ask that you accept our
apologies and please try to upload the shot again.
So it should be OK concerning the length and uniqueness. I'm wondering if there is a way to not count such glitches in calculations of acceptance ratio since the queue limits were cut in half and it became more important than ever.
Anyone else had something similar? Should I reupload or give up on that one?

Quoting JeffM (Reply 1): Was it rejected, or did it just fail to upload correctly? I don't remember hearing that upload failures count against your queue limits.

...it's got a lot of fringing, and it appears soft to me.
I got a rejection email with the explanation I quoted above. I guess I would agree that it's kinda soft, but where's the fringing? I don't notice any.
