Without doing that how could they pick it up.?
The screeners are not to blame here if there is an issue .

All I'm suggesting is that a quiet email to the screeners would likely have got the pic removed with few people seeing it. Having it "advertised" here has simply made it top of the day. I'm certainly not disputing that there's clearly something "wrong" with the shot, hence:

I agree, the title of your thread says it all. You are getting very bitter.

If you find a picture with issues why not email them privately? Why create more of the same "my pics are being rejected and they missed this one" crap? it is so old!

The screen "images" look to have been somewhat poorly pasted on. Not to mention the overall contrast of the image is pretty poor.

it's definately a pixelated image that's been pasted over the screens, look at the EICAS and you can see a thick black strip running across it and a black square kind of shape in the lower right. why on earth would he do that?

I didn't open the image to scrutinise it but i did after this comment and i can see an issue but if it may be caused by something other then a manipulation we will wait and see.

Though I disagree with Eric's way of handling this, it doesn't take an expert to see that. It is obvious.

The issue has now been dealt with, so I am locking this thread. I believe the best action to have taken here would have been to contact the Screeners directly by email, rather than posting a thread about it.
