Well I am trying to get used to a new monitor and had several rejections for soft. I am having a hard time getting photos sharp enough.
On Kenmore's DeHavilland I believe I see jaggies on the rudder.

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 789kb

On ANA's 777 I really am having a hard time. Jaggies seem to appear imediately.

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 537kb

Everything is shot in Raw. I thought I had this all figured out. It feels like I'm at square 1 again.

Thanks,
Erick

They don't look too bad on my Sony Trinitron, I bet you got one of those new fangled LCD piece of s%^t monitors.

The Kenmore has some slight haloing around the titles but apart from that not to bad.

Chris

If your camera sends text messages, that could explain why your photos are rubbish!

t7 is still a bit soft on my "piece of s%^t" LCD monitor. So it must be softer still on a CRT from yester-year!  Wink

Other one looks fine at a quick glance.

Can't see any jaggies on the rudder of the seaplane.

IMHO (And really it's very humble) the Kenmore Air titles look oversharpened but the rest looks fine!

The ANA 777 looks okay to me too!

Hope this helps.

Spru!

I can see some jaggies on the left egde of the wing, on the blue stripe. I have a Dell 19" monitor, I'm not sure how that compares to what you look at. It's very new though.

I love the first picture though, looks awsome.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yep. After 8 years my 20" CRT took the big dump. I'm on a Dell ultra sharp 20.1 wide screen. I have noticed it likes to pretend things are oversharpened at times.
