I took this photo last summer:

http://www.airliners.net/uf/536875057/1155096336l2JA2O.jpg

But I have no clue what type of helicopter it is. I made a search on this site for helicopter pics taken in Norway, and the only one that seemed to match was a Eurocopter Lama or something. But I'm not sure.

Furthermore, there is a reg on the aircraft, at the bottom front, just below the seat. But whether it is due to a bad image or the bad monitor I'm using now, I can't make it out. I think it is most likely LN-O**. Can anyone manage to see it?

Any help is much appreciated.

Looks like a Bell 47 or one of its derivatives.

Aerospatiale Alouette II/Lama

There is some Indian versions (HAL Chetak) out there too. But probably in IAF service and regional airforces only-so i doubt they will be in Norway  Smile

Looks similar to the Bell47, I agree. But this seems slightly larger. Must be a different version.

I'm not sure, but it might be this one:

Luftfartyget SE-HRA
Luftfartygstyp: AEROSPATIALE SE 3130
MTOW: 1500 kg
Tillverkningsnummer: 1268
Ägarförhållande: HeliNord Norden AB (ARNÄSVALL) är ägare.

A SE.3130 is an Alouette II.
I gather this company is from Narvik.
You can drop them an e-mail:

Well it is a AEROSPATIALE SE 3130 Alouette II

Almost certainly LN-OKV cn 1128

This aircraft is one of only two (LN-OCK being the other) on the LN register and the only red aircraft.
