Dear all,

I need advice as to what's wrong with these two quality rejects:

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r.../big/20060813_cpol06_4482_1024.jpg

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r.../big/20060803_cpol06_4342_1024.jpg - underside noise on this one?

Thanks,
Charles

Not sure about the Luxair, looks OK to me (says he who has just had 2 rejects himself!) but the BA is not quite right.

Thanks Andy. Is the problem with the BA something you can pinpoint?

In regards to the BA one, I think it might be something to do with the Sharpening of it. I agree that it does look a little weird.

What steps did you take when editing this one?

The luxair I can't say for sure, my guess would be the softness of the "subtitles". I would also say it needs a very slight CCW rotation as well.

The BA looks like it has had some interesting shadow/highlight on the bottom, with a fair bit of grain in there, perhaps from sharpening?

I tried to lighten the blue underside of the BA a bit, which probably explains the noise, but I did not notice it at the time. It looks worse on the photo as uploaded to a.net.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Charles
