Is anyone else going? I'm just wondering if it's worth buying a VIP ticket for £50. Includes access to VIP enclosure, preferred parking, cleared access to airfield, lunch, private bar, shelter and seating. The Alphajet sounds good.  Smile

The day you spend £50 on a day out is the day I become Pope

I've never been and it's only about a 40 min drive from home. I was hoping to make it this year, but have to work all weekend  Sad

Everyone who I've spoken to says it's usually an excellent show, but I'm not sure I'd pay £50, even if it does get you a little closer to the action.

Regards,

Tim.

Hmmmm Pope Cosec............................Does have a certain ring to it!

On another not, unfortunately not as I'm learning how not to die in a small C152 on that particular weekend!

Cheers,

Spru!

Edith in his bed, a plane in the rain is humming, the wires in the walls are humming some song - some mysterious song

There is the De Havilland Moth Club fly in at Northampton-Sywell on Saturday too.
I can't get on Saturday, but this is followed by a fly-out on Sunday morning to Woburn Abbey in Bedfordhire, surely one of the most picturesque of venues.
Unless the forecast is appalling I will be there.
Pity Kemble is the same weekend as I suspect that both events will suffer a bit.

I guess I'll just sit at the flying club over here and dream of going to nice airfields with lots of puddle jumpers  cry
