Hi
I was wondering if you could help me figure out what the problem is here. I´ve had this picture rejected for motiv, but I don´t know why, since all the wing is visible and I there are no other main subjects in the picture which might have been cut out. I thought at first that there might be issues with LV-ZTX, but really I don´t know.

Any comments appreciated.
Thank you!

Lanas.-

Maybe a bit too cluttered! And the image size might be another issue.

What do you mean by 'cluttered'?
Regarding the image size I believe it´s fine because its 1024x768. It´s within the accepted size and image ratio.
Thank you for your comment.  Smile

Regards,
Lanas.-

Yeah, you're right. My browser resized the image. Sorry for confusion!

Check the window dirt (white spots) in the bottom left tarmac area.

Oh...Its Lanas 1st day as a premium member  Smile

And if I were a strict screener, I would also reject it for bad composition...The small yellow paint on the bottom left forner and the cut off 737 of LAN Air.

Thank you for realising! I´m just glad I could join in! Big grin

I didn´t know that 'bad composition' existed. I thought that a window view should show primarily the wing. In this case I just wanted to show how crowded the ramp of this small airport was. I didn´t intend to focus on one of the aircraft pictured in the image. If that were the case I would completely agree with the motiv rejection.
Thank you for your comments.

Lanas.-

The composition is the problem I think. The subject of the photo is unclear, my eyes are drawn to the nothingness between the three aircraft.

Yes, I guess you´re right. Do you think that´s the reason for the 'motiv' rejection?

Hi Lanas,

Quoting Lanas (Reply 6):

What I meant was bad composition leads to bad motive sometimes. But as far as this rejection is concerned, I primarily feel its just because of the window dirt as I mentioned in the previous post.

Quoting VasanthD (Reply 4):
window dirt (white spots)

You can clone them out...but it may lead to other consequences (if serious).

Lanas, yes, I think so. I think it would even be rejected if both 737s were fully visible, sorry.
By the way, Vas is right that you can also get this rejection for a photo that has visibly been shot through glass.

Cheers,

Peter

I was wondering what you were trying to show here........Oh, that must be why you got the motive rejection.  Wink

What a shame. I believed the picture was better than what it turned out to be.  Sad

Quoting JeffM (Reply 11):

I thought that view of the ramp was OK. It´s a pity I don´t have any better pics of that flight. I´ll try better next time I fly.

Lanas.-
