Hi there,
I have got a load of rejections lately, and would like some advice (should I by a new monitor?)
Most of the rejections were for soft, but on my monitor I really apply sharpening until jaggies (almost) start to appear (I am using a flat screen monitor - SIGMA TFT 1901M), so I would like to know what I should do to improve...

Hi Walter,
Have you tried editing those to 1024x768 and seeing if that helps on any of them, like the quality rejection. There are a few blurry shots there imo but how ever much sharpening you do, a blurry shot is a blurry shot

The Mirage picture has some jaggies on the leading edge of the right wing and on the horizontal. Try resizing them down to 1024 px and see how they turn out. The jaggies will require a re-edit though.

Hey Walter,
Sorry to say this but I think you are fighting a loosing battle here. The quality just isn't there.
I'm seeing motive rejections for all apart from the Mirage. Then to add, if the Mirage is that blurry at 1200, I doubt an edit at 1024 is going to be much better.
If I were you, I'd use those shots as a learning curve, place them in the personal collection, and get out and about and shoot more aircraft and see how the next batch turn out.
