Just got back from LGW where I've been trying some different angles with a different lens. What do you all think of this one?

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/b...dy/N772ANAMERICANB777LGW270806.jpg

I'm not sure about the levelling, I've tried to level it using the car park behind. Also, maybe there's a little to much haze in the background? Although, that could be down to the long focal length of the prime.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Simon.

Simon,

I think it doesn´t look so level. Why not level with the landing gear? Its a valid vertical part of the airplane. In that case, the landing gear levelling might need a little CCW rotation.

Cheers!

Very nice shot! I like it very much.

About levelling, I feel it might need a bit CCW rotation. But not quite sure.

Nice shot. I agree it needs CCW rotation. I would rotate until the main gears are horizontally on the same level.

I agree with Lanas and Bubbles, it needs some CCW rotation. It also has some grain in the darker areas and a few jaggies, especially around the cockpit windows.

Thank you guy's.

I'll try and level it tomorrow, using the landing gear as a focus point. Apart from that, everything looks ok?

Just want to be 100% sure, it's one of my favourite photos for sure!

Regards,
Simon.

Personally I think you have cropped it a bit tight at the top as well.

Nice, just looks like it could go for one very slight pass of USM.

Hi all,

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/b...N772ANAMERICANB777LGW270806-23.jpg

Any better? I've rotated it CCW, and given it a slight kick of USM.

I don´t know. Looks a bit blurry to me, specially on the cockpit and the forward landing gear.
Better with the level, I think.

Cheers!
