Can i have some opinions on these 2 edits please.
One has been done by me and one by my friend on his monitor.
I think I'm just about close to solving this sharpening issue and how they look on my monitor.
Can i please have some opinions on how they look on different monitors compared to mine for sharpness and brightness but more importantly sharpness.
Thanks again too all for the help in this tough time that im going through
This is my edit

Pauls is sharper around the rear titles that say 100th aircraft. His has a better overall sharpness to it i think.

He also has slightly less contrast and the colours seem a little punchier. The colour also seems cleaner like he has got a more accurate color balance or white balance.

Hope you find a solution to the monitor soon!

Chris

Paul's is better. Softness is the main problem on your version.

Hello Alan.

Very pleased to see that you had some success here. It is a very good photo and the quality was very apparent in the original.

I do hope that this helps you regain the confidence that you have what it takes to keep having photos accepted here. Good luck with the next one  wink .

Take good care.

Paul

It sure has Paul and I'm thinking i have the hang of it again with this monitor.
The problem i was facing is that i was seeing things sharp with my new monitor when they where still soft.
Thanks again for the help you have gave me and the wake up words from Gary (Granite) to make me get to the bottom of the situation.
Cheers
