Well I got my first rejection not centered around Soft/Jagged. This one is for Editing & Contrast.

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...s/big/20060912_EmiratesTest777.jpg

Well I can sort of understand the contrast, but not the editing. What am I missing or not seeing?

This image looked great from the start and I did the least editing than I have in the past?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Erick

Hey great shot there.

There are quite noticable halos around each engine. On the starboard wing, you missed some major jaggies. Also noticable around the cockpit windows and back along the fuselage to the main door is quite jaggered also.

If you equalise the shot, I think you'll notice the halos.

Yep that explains the editing. The shadow highlight function should be used very conservatively!

Ahhhh I see the little buggers now.

Actually I didn't use the shadow highlights function. I used spot meter on the underside and came close to overexposing the fuselage.

Thanks for the super quick replies.
