As i tend to distrust postings of the my mates brothers wifes sisters husbands best mate who knows someome who spoke to another pesron who said he thought he saw this....etc. I rang the airports i am visiting next week and spoke to the check in desks.
BA said no probs with cameras as cabin baggage
USAir said same. So my two trusty 35mm with the digital and video are keeping me company in the cabin.
The proviso they both mentioned is that they must confirm to weight and size parameters as laid down.To keep the weight down the spares lenses and radio stuff is going in the hold.
The US airports were SFO BWI PHL DTW YUL MCO.
