Hello guys,

I uploaded this picture and it got rejected for SOFT...

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...s/big/20060924_D-ABTC02_upload.jpg

Ok, it is a bit soft... so I sharpened it and uploaded it again:

And now it is grainy and got rejected again...

Any suggestions?

Well, personally I think the grainy thing is niff naff and trivia Phil, and it's a good pic. But it has got some grain and you know what the standards are here.

Not sure how you'll get rid of it without affecting the overall picture. Too much noise reduction might kill the sharpness and ruin it.

Guess the experts will tell you mate. Good luck! Big grin

Put it in your personal collection and next time take the shot with the sun illuminating the aircraft front and not the sky behind the aircraft.

Apart from that you might try some selective sharpening but the lighting really kills the shot.

Well, the problem is: the aircraft is parked at the LH Hangar in FRA... And you can only see it from this angle (unless you go airside) but I am not allowed to go there...
Next problem: I am looking to the west... so the sun will never be behind me, maybe early in the morning, but there is the sun so low that it is hiding behind buildings behind me...

So I guess another (in my eyes) a unique photo gets rejected...  Sad

Thanks anyway
