Could You Help Me Fix Up This Photo?

I've been trying and trying, but I don't think it's quite there. At the same time, I think it has potential. Could anyone give me some tricks to try to help out this photo?

One thing is, that I don't think you got 100% rid of the dustspot above the #1 engine. It can easily be seen in the original.
And also, I think the photo is rather grainy.

Yep, especially apparent in the original. What was your ISO setting for this shot?

Better to be nouveau than never to have been riche at all.

Since it seems like your using a Nikon D70 it should be rather hard to change it to ISO 100. But still, the ISO 200 setting shouldn't be this grainy I think.

I agree that it does look slightly grainy. To try and correct that, use the 'rubber eraser' over the entire aircraft when yoo rub out any jaggies. I have found that by doing that, it will get rid of some of the grainy look that shows up while sharpening.

In the original file the bottom of the fuselage still shows a fair amount of grain I think.

There seems to be a little black line or something which has appeared on your edited version, its in the very bottom right of the picture. Would using neat image perhaps help take out some of the grain?

That's from the crop--I can cut that out easily. It's the quality/grain I'm really trying to fix.
