Hi all,

This thread is designed to show your more or less unusual photos that have recently been rejected for motive here. I think this might be interesting. Although some discussion will probably take place, the aim is not to complain but to help us all get a better understanding what's acceptable, just by showing the rejected pictures that we often don't get to see. And of course, your uappreciated gems will get some posthumous attention.

The rules I'd like to set are:
tombstone  Post your rejected-for-motive photo without complaining - if the photo is really great, others will say so. Alternatively, start your own thread.
tombstone  Don't post large images directly, but use links/thumbnails to keep the thread loadable.

To start it off, one of mine:

Was desperately trying to get this one in the db, as it is ene of my favourites of the Axalp Show this year. Unfortunately full frame as it is, and the fact that it is backlit does not help either. Anyway, hope you like it nonetheless!

Looks to me like the shadow of lens or lenshood when in wideangle mode with internal flash!

My BA cabin photo above was rejected for motive. It has been the top photo at MyAviation.net for a week now. It is tough enough to get 100 hits at MyAviation. At 1100 hits so far, I can't complain and it may encourage A.Net to keep widening areas in aviation that deserve a place in it's database.
