Hi All

Since you all seem to appreciate clarification of the rules I thought I do a post on double, which many people don't seem to understand correctly yet.

A big part of double rejections comes from what I'd like to call "analytical cropping", where someone uploads a normal sideshot and subsequently uploads a nose closeup and a tail closeup. This is not allowed. You have the choice between either uploading the sideshot or both closeups, but you can't do both.

Hope this helps

Tim

tail closeup

Thanks for the clarification Tim, but I was under the impression tail close ups were now frowned upon.

As long as the focus of the photo is not a logo they are still allowed.

So why else would you take a tail shot?

Thanks for the info, hope many people will read this. What about a side on and a front/rear view? Doubles? Yes I think and got told in another thread, but I'm not sure.

Georg, yes double as well unless very "different". I'm sure some recent examples exist.

Not to burn the photographer (the shots are terriffic), but how does this fit in the motiv rule? both are in flight. Besides these there is an approach shot and a panel shot as well, but they are very difirent.
