Well, I tried four times to get this in, but it seems hopeless.

Rejections in order:

A: Blurry
B: Oversharpened
C: Contrasts/
D: and the ever so popular "MOTIVE".

Any suggestions?
Richard

I suspect there isn't much that can be done with this shot, unsalvagable. One for your own collection I'm afraid.

You can't fix "blurry", and if you do, you get:

B: Oversharpened

Redo again from scratch. BTW were you using a filter on the lens, because the light from the masts looks strange.

And if you have consistent screening you would get MOTIVE first time around, wouldn't you?

One day, I might be good at this...

Can't see the point of wanting to appeal a shot that was rejected 4 (!) times for different reasons....?! Won't get online here, time to move on I'd say..?

I just had a look at the photo and found out that the whole sky is cropped out! That's badmanipulation IMHO.

Richard,

I don't think its salvagable.

Is there any particular reason you have appealed it 4 times?

Regards

4 times?? Man oh man!

I have to say this so I appologise in advance....

Can you honestly say that this particular pic is the same quality/standard as anything on the top of last 24 hours?

Look at the grain, look at the jaggies, look at the overall colour. A little bit of extra self screening or asking others for opinions could have helped a lot here.

Florian,

With a rejection rate like yours, do you have any idea of what is or isnt an acceptable anet photo yourself?  Wink  Big grin and yes, this was a J O K E.

I do agree though, this is a shot for the personal collection, not for anet.

Yup, if a.net wont accept it, either upload it someplace else or keep it for collection. Sorry.

Not really sure anymore I guess. I tend to find out that quite some of mine aren't by just appealing them  Smile

How about give up? I've made the mistake of dragging my acceptance ratio down severly by being 'too persistant' with shots I thought were great. I would give up now if I were you (especially after 4 rejections). My advice would be to try a similar but improved shot in the future, and see how that turns out. Good luck  Wink.
