Hey guys,

My most recent batch of uploads showed a different username than I usually have appear with my pics.

Instead of "Phil Derner, Jr. - NYCAviation" it just shows up as "Phil Derner".

Anyone have any idea how this could have happened or how I can fix it?

Thanks,

-Phil

I've just had to change my Photographer name as someone else was able to register under the same name, despite me having been here for several years  Sad There is a link from within "myphotos". I guess that could be used for corrections as well. Failing that, you could contact the ever expanding "Customer Support" team.

The same happened to me a while back.

The other person who registered with my name has never upload a single photo since registering but keeps sending me stupid e-mails saying "isn't it funny we share the same name!"

Do you talk about the name on the Copyright bar or the one next to the thumbnails/pics? The one on the bar is shortened to fit it better.

This has been an ongoing issue that frankly, I feel nobody on this site has a clue how to fix. At first it was a long dash showing up in the name... Now its a question mark. Lately, no replies when the issue is addressed.

Strange thing... as that is not necessarily the case for everyone:

The logic is the same for everybody. It all depends where you place blanks and where not  Wink

It's hilarious! Big grin

As there are 2 people on the site with my name, i've had a few problems with the upload system in the past. It always has been sorted by the good crew though and hasn't happen for nearly a year now. I just added something extra to my name.

What's the correct one to address. I always thought the screeners are the ones to handle such things quick. Or did I only misspelled something?

Screeners have nothing to do anymore with photographer names.
support@airliners.net are the ones.
