I'm not sure where the quality comes in to it, it looks fantastic on my screen There is a little bit too much space on the right of the frame and the wing tip on the left is missing but apart from that, its a great shot.

A little late, but maybe I can still be of some help. Try to improve on centering (watch out not to cut the tip of the wing), look at the tail (reg, logo) as they seem a little soft/blurry, compensate the colour cast (I would agree to slightly blue), just increase slightly contrast and overall sharpness. Additionally, at least I would increase a little saturation.
Oh well, it sounds worse than it actually is, since I really think it is a great picture and with these rather minor adjustments it deserves it's place in the DB!
