Here are more of my older pictures that I have scanned from negatives. I know a few aren't that great but a couple seem to be good enough to attempt to upload.

Comments?

The Delta Olympic should get on... great pic. I would crop the first LOT so the plane is centered...

A few photos have too much smart blur (look at the grass) and the COA's and BTA's have some color problems (look at the tail)

Drop the smart blur altogether it's turnining your photos(which are quite nice) into paintings.

Smart Blur- smoothing out the image... look at the grass in some shots... it looks like oil paint.

Jeremy

PS_ I do that, too

I've added some more pictures and sorted them a little bit as well.

Opinions?

I only saw the American MD-80. The scanning looks almost perfect to me, you just need to level the horizon and avoid cutting the tail stabilizer.

I think it's time for you to start uploading to Airliners.net, good stuff.

So what was the problem with the scanner?

Luis

Actually, it has become very weird. All the pictures on there are from negatives since my slides don't want to work. The slides from 6+ years ago scan fairly well but my new slides still get that very dark blue color and I can't find a way to remove it. I'm working on a few of the older slides and I'll upload them to Yahoo in a little bit.

After reading this thread, I was saying "What's this Smart Blur?". Well a little experimenting later and I found out. Pretty neat. Good for those shots that scan grainy no matter how careful you are, but only if you use it at tiny fractions of its potential (on photopaint, I just set it on the very first notch, which appears to be sufficient.)

Thanks for the tip.

I just got an e-mail about the two pictures I uploaded earlier this week. One was rejected because the aircraft wasn't level with this horizon. Funny thing is the picture that passed is only 865x513. I edited too much out of it. Since 800x600 is minimum, I wonder why that one was passed the prescreeners but the other one didn't. Oh well. The LOT didn't get pass the prescreeners. What I find weird is the pictures that were rejected were the better quality ones while one that is a POS got through. Confused
