Hey fellow photographers,
after doing some more extensive research in the last few weeks, I have decided to go with the following setup:
Canon Eos 30D
EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5
EF 24-105 f/4 L IS
EF 70-200 f/4 L IS (when I've saved some more money)
and some other stuff like memory cards, filters etc.
This time, I am not asking for lens advice (I've considered the 400D, sigma 10-20 and the ef 24-70 and none are optimal for me).
I'm buying this setup mid of next week to take with me to New Zealand for Christmas, and since I intend to do some planespotting, I was wondering about how the panning mode on the 24-105 worked (since I can't afford the 70-200 right now). There doesn't seem to be a switch for it, so any comments on this function are appreciated.
