I like those threads whose only point is to give ourselves the opportunity to plug some wonderful photos. The rules: only ONE photo per post, recent photos much preferred (old hidden gems admitted, though), STRICTLY NO SELF-PLUGGING, PLEASE. And if you want to explain why you like that particular one, that is fine
A fantastic example of Second Curtain Flash. I had considered doing this under the flightpath on 09L at LHR, but I decided that I'd probably get arrested rather quickly if I were to start using portable studio flash units to achieve the same effect.

To the two guys who posted Chris Starnes photo I am on the same page as you guys too! He is getting some fantastic shots...should really check out the others he has.....most anythign from Alaska is top notch and he just does a great job!
The compostion is just great, so is the evening light. The Dash looks elegant in the black livery. The compressed view is a plus too. I just love the early digital stuff from guys like Mark, Chris Sheldon, Jason Taperell, Gary Watt, Andrew Hunt or Craig Murray.
