The "One Recent Photo That Made You Go Wow" Thread

I like those threads whose only point is to give ourselves the opportunity to plug some wonderful photos. The rules: only ONE photo per post, recent photos much preferred (old hidden gems admitted, though), STRICTLY NO SELF-PLUGGING, PLEASE. And if you want to explain why you like that particular one, that is fine

I think it's the motive that amazes me so much.

Hi there.

I'm lucky, a photo's image jumped instantly into my mind, otherwise it would be pretty hard to choose just one shot if I had time to think about it.

I was really impressed by this photo. I thought to myself ...."that is so cool looking!"  hypnotized

Good job by the photographer.

Hear hear. Astounding.

A fantastic example of Second Curtain Flash. I had considered doing this under the flightpath on 09L at LHR, but I decided that I'd probably get arrested rather quickly if I were to start using portable studio flash units to achieve the same effect.

The compostion is just great, so is the evening light. The Dash looks elegant in the black livery. The compressed view is a plus too. I just love the early digital stuff from guys like Mark, Chris Sheldon, Jason Taperell, Gary Watt, Andrew Hunt or Craig Murray.
