Rejected For Motive - Why?

Well, I knew this would be a borderline case, but still would very much appreciate if a screener could tell me exactly why this one was rejected for motive? Maybe then one day I will learn which engine close ups to upload  Cool ...

I knew this would be a close one, but I thought to myself: Does this picture have the same value without the guy? I made it clear in the comment that the picture was about the engines and NOT the guy!

I think your screener comment came in the form of a rejection. The motive rejection is obvious, comment or not.

I agree the picture is quite plain, regarding motive, but I like the shot. I would have cropped out the 'dead' space behind the engine exhausts (to the right of the frame).
