Hi !
I stay in two weeks in Los Angeles.
My problem is :
Where are the current spotterplace´s in LAX after the terrorattack´s in New York and Waschington ?
Is the observation deck on top of the Theme Building open ?
Have you problem`s with police for spotting around the airport area ?

I would avoid LAX like the plague--cops, cops, cops, and more cops and I don't think they're in the mood for spotters, but I could be wrong.

The best place to go is In-and-Out burger on Sepulveda Blvd. The planes roar over low so you can get great shots and at the same time, you are a good safe distance from the airport.

Good luck though!

I have a website dedicated to spotting in the Los Angeles area. I need to update it soon.

If LAX doesn't work out, you might try San Diego...only a short drive away and with much better looking women.  Smile

Photography is still possible at LAX. You have to be very discreet. DO NOT leave ladders against the fence. Approach shooting is possible from Parking Lot C for the northside.
South side shooting is possible, but once again very discreetly.
