Danny, that shot was taken on 2/9/05 after departing 13R at JFK. The airplane is heading south toward the Atlantic Ocean getting ready to make a right turn to head West for Las Vegas. I dug into the archives and found this one and I could not resist.........thanks for the compliment

Wonderful sunset, but I also have my doubts because of the little wing...almost a shot for sunsets.com !
Now regarding quality, for me the sun is almost too bright as it does not allow too much detail of the rest, and gives an overall soft appearance.

This is rather a landscape photo with a little bit of airplane in it than the other way round. And since the lighting doesn't do it justice neither (sun too bright and wing too dark) I don't think it's gonna make it.
